On a hot summer day this Brown Thrasher visited one of the bird baths in my yard.
Brown Thrashers are often in our yard. I think they nest in my neighbor’s hedges and the leaf litter under our trees seems to provide them with a place to hunt insects.
This one looked young. I’m guessing this is its first summer.
