New photographers sometimes don’t realize cloudy days are great for getting photos with soft, even light.
The whole sky is like a giant diffuser. It’s perfect for getting shots of flowers, insects, or just about any other subject that can be shot without including the sky in frame, even portraits.
After a recent rain I noticed everything was still wet. Then I saw this Camellia bud covered in rain drops and thought it made a worthwhile subject.
Enjoy your day!
