This small frog was hunting insects in my yard one night. To get the picture I used a handheld flashlight and the on camera flash with my camera mounted on a tripod. I think it is a leopard frog. If you believe differently, please let me know.

I did a post in which I covered all the frog species in Ohio (http://trekohio.com/2012/03/17/ohio-frogs-toads/). I think you are right about it being a Leopard Frog. When there is a light colored rim around the spots it’s a Northern Leopard Frog. Without the rim, it’s a Southern Leopard Fron.
Thanks for confirming the id of this frog. I’m pretty good with birds but not so much with frogs and toads.
