We are so lucky to have these beautiful birds in Virginia. Love the photo.
Thanks Karen. This nesting box went unused for the first few years. I considered taking it down around the time the first pair of Blue Birds used it. Since then we’ve had a pair of Blue Birds in it every year, often raising more than one clutch of chicks in the season. They are indeed beautiful birds.
