The pitched battle of spring verses winter is well under way in Central Virginia and spring is steadily gaining ground.
Sometimes every day objects catch my eye. While we were out with friends one evening this lampshade struck me as pretty interesting. My wife laughed at me for taking this picture.

This week’s photo challenge topic is Satisfaction. I batted a few ideas around and ended up with this photograph taken on a recent visit to the James River. You may not see anything satisfying in the photograph but that’s okay. I’ll explain.
Christine Falls in Mount Rainer National Park, Washington flows right under this bridge with a nice stone facade. It’s not one of the largest falls in the park but its impressive nonetheless and it’s easily accessible from the road making it a spot within the park.
