This statue stands near the top of the peak at Beenarourke, on the Ring Road in County Kerry, Ireland.
I couldn’t read the inscription, it was probably in Irish, but I imagine she’s standing there watching over travelers and the inhabitants of this rugged but beautiful part of Ireland.
